Hi everyone!

I just want to ask with regards to Advance Parole, I'm applying for AOS and I have included in the package the EAD and AP. I'm just confused in the form I-131, I'm just applying for advance parole just incase we will go home or abroad while my AOS is in the process. There is a question in the form

PART 3

Q1. Date of Intended Departure: - I really don't have a specific date, I'm just applying for AP

Do I need to answer question number 3

PART 7

DO I need to explain the reason why I qualify for ADVANCE PAROLE DOCUMENT?

July 23, 2013 (Day 53) - USCIS Website AOS status from "Acceptance" to "Testing and Interview"

July 30, 2013 (Day 60) - USCIS Website AOS status Testing and Interview - August 29, 2013

July 31, 2013 (Day 61) - Received NOA mail for Interview

August 06, 2013 (Day 67) - USCIS Website EAD status "Card Production"

- USCIS Website AP status "Post Decision Activity - Approved Application"

August 13, 2013 (Day 74) - USCIS website EAD status " Card Mailed to the address on file"

August 17, 2013 (Day 78) - EAD/AP card on hand

Just put "Unknown"

Yes. But not question 4.

PART 7

As you are filing for it with AOS, you do not need to explain.

What you were told above in this thread is the correct answer. You simply put Unknown for the date and length of trip and check the box for multiple trips. No explanation statement as to why you need AP has to be included when filing with a pending I-485. It is in the I-131 instructions.
