Hello all

Hopefully you can give me some calm down advise. I am awaiting as patient as I can. I received approval of my I-129F on October 17, 2006 and my letter says that CIS sent it to NVC in New Hampshire. Well its been over 4 weeks and NVC has no record of it. I thought my baby would be here for christmas, but I have it set in my mind that she won't be, and that's ok we will have many together in the future.

I look forward to chatting with some of you.

Thanks for your support

Dave

You need to talk to an operator at NVC or email them at NVCINQUIRY@state.gov The automated system only tracks DOS case numbers, and wont tell you any thing about status of K type visas.

To email them provide them with CIS case number and Name and DOB of petitioner, and beneficiary.

Good luck

Oh dude I have called them everyday and spoke to an operator and they say they have not received the case in the office yet. They say that USCIS probably has not mailed it off to them yet.

Should be there any time now, CSC tends to send them to NVC in a large truck load every other week or so. 2-4 weeks is the norm for CSC. Then up to 4 weeks for NVC to process and then send on to the consulate.

Welcome to the CSC mailing room! This moment is the most helpless you will feel. It could take up to 6 weeks. Just chill, it will be there soon. Once it gets to NVC, its quick. Cuz they only do preliminary background checks. Usually is there less than 2-3 days. Good luck and hang in there.

Call everyday. They will discourage that practice, but who cares!!! Do it anyway. Eventually, they will acknowledge your case. Be relentless in your efforts.

Good luck!!!

I would personally recommend the email to NVC route. They were quick to respond to my email, and let me know they had indeed gotten and processed our approved petition.

Good luck on your journey!

Our time from NA02 approval to NVC was 5 weeks...kinda painful...but it did finally get there and it didn't stay there long, just a few days or so. Well, most of that time was probably spent at the CSC mailroom... I did the email thing and they were very good about answering within about 24 hours...usually. Fone worked fine also.

Peace...
