So i did my medical exam yesterday at St. Luke's without any appointment letter, heck, we have not started our NVC stage yet since my husband is here and wants to bring all the documents himself tomorrow coz he's going back to US.

I did the medical early because i have a scar in my lungs and i know i will undergo for a sputum test, and yes i got that yellow slip yesterday which i will bring on the sputum test..

I had my parents do the medical exam before the case complete at NVC. They also have to undergo the sputum exam due to deformity of lungs. We are on our 5th week going to 6th week of waiting for the culture result. Praying for a negative result in 2-3 weeks from now. Good luck to everyone of us. I know the hardest part is the time it takes to wait for the sputum culture.

@Vic20r: Good day! I would just like to ask what did you bring during your medical exam and what is the ideal time of the day to go there?

Thanks!

Document requirements are different between K-1 and IR/CR-1.

SLEC states on their website what is required: http://www.slec.ph/us-visa-applicants.shtml#required-docs

I see you got you NOA2 about 2 weeks ago, have you contacted NVC to get your MNL #?

There is a link in my signature below for the K-1 process in Manila

Hi Chailatte

I only brought with me 2 copies of the confirmation letter from the St. lukes pre registration online, 2 copies of the first page of NVC instruction letter because we have not started the NVC stage yet (the one with MNL case number, IIN, and BIN.., passport and a photocopy of the bio page, 4 pcs. 2x2 pics but they only asked one...i arrived there at 7:30am.

I don't know the ideal time but not bad being there at 7:30am. If i don't have scar in my lungs, i was given the vaccines right away on the same day..

It is really wise to Pre register online at St. Luke's website, that way, u don't have to fill in any PDS anymore..they just check your requirements, take pic there after 3mins, done in the ground floor and u will then pay at the 5th flr..

The one that is long is for the Physical exam after all the tests..I noticed they only have 2 doctors that will cater US and Canada applicants
