Hi Angelina:

Its good that you have checked in with Cong. Larson. There needs to be political pressure on the USCIS . . . . it has to go beyond just listening to their excuses, and relating the same to clients.

I cant believe that it is going to take lots of time for the TSC to react (training workers and all that). If its that bad, then why did they transfer the cases? Why not just keep them at the VSCas you note, they have been granting petitions in less than 6 months, so its not like things there are at a standstill.

To tell you the truth, they need to shake up the USCIS. They are in a perpetual state of refusing to answer questions (in a realistic way), stonewalling, and then issuing excuses. They tripled fees several years ago, with the idea that the organization would become self-sustaining, but if anything performance has deteriorated. Since they are funded by fees, you (and others) are the ones paying their expenses and salaries . . . and there should be accountability.

Stay on it with Larsons office and let me know what they say. I will independently contact the USCIS to ask for an assessment of when your petition will be granted.

Take care,
