Timeline

Yes, Some consulates want it sent in with part 1 and others want you to bring it to the interview. Fill out all lines except 35, and don't sign or date it. You will do this in front of the consular officer at the interview.

I forgot to ask on here about the DS230 before I left for my interview. So I did both parts I and II and brought to my interview. They didn't ask me for it, but I offered... The consular official advised that it was not needed as it's for immigrant visas , not non-immigrant visa's.
