Democrats lie, Republicans lie more. Are we supposed to argue over who deserves the prize of bigeest liar?

Get them ALL out of our lives as much as possible! People who want the "government" more involved with our lives (is Steven listening?) have to accept that these are the people who will be controlling a larger part of your life.

How can anyone look at this stuff and look at the daily monkeyshines in Washington DC and say "Oh, yeah, I want those guys to handle my healthcare, they will do it much better than I can!"

Yet oddly enough, Steven (and others) wants more government involvement in our lives and also posts article after article citing government incompetence.

It wasn't Social Security that Gary wanted to go on. He wanted to go on the dole. The Nature Boy has now opted for socialized, government run medical care which he hates so much. Good stuff!

I wasn't specifically referring to Gary or NB. I was just wondering if people considered collecting social security or medicare as "going on the dole." I don't, because you pay into both of those programs over your working life. So you're just getting back what you paid into it. At least that's how I think it should work. I know it doesn't actually work that way.
