Petition sent to NRC instead of NVC

After 5 weeks of NOA2 being approved, I found out today that my petition was accidentally sent to NRC instead of NVC.

CSC can't do anything until it shows up in the NRC system. Unfortunately it's not showing in NRC's system yet. Once it shows up they will request it back from NRC to CSC and then CSC will send it to NVC.

I have already contacted my senator and I got above information from my senator. I am told to wait 3 weeks but I have lost all my hope. Considering how they operate I have no idea how long this whole process of requesting and sending is going to take.

People in similar situation, please let me know what to do.
