ANYONE FROM VSC APPROVED TODAY?!

I don't understand why there is such variation in how many approvals are done per day. Both centers have proved they are capable of approving a decent number of petitions per day, why do they not keep this up? Why do they suddenly allow a backlog to grow? They must be aware it will happen. If they are getting behind in other petitions, why not employ more staff rather than give one application type all their attention?

I paid the same amount as someone from CSC in Feb, and yet I will be receiving my NOA2 a good few months after them.

(Sorry if I'm ranting, I'm just getting so wound up over this system.)

VSC transferred cases so they could get back under the 6 month timeline. No pressure on them now to complete K1 visa. They probably pull staff off I-129 and put them on DACA. At end of next month, they will start doing a lot of I-129, until then we will just see a few completed each day -- if we are lucky. Yes, we pay a lot of money to get our loved ones here, but USCIS staff see us as a number only and don't care. They get paid no matter what type of visa they are working on.

That's what I'm worried about. It looks like they've already taken staff off K1s.

It's unfortunate that CSC gets all the attention when they appear behind...they are now getting back to three months while VSC is running 6-8 months behind processing (Feb filers approval for CSC) VSC filers paid the same amount as CSC filers...despite what the CSC filers are saying...VSC is more than 60 days behind CSC.. VSC is processing OCT and NOV..there is NO denying this...... .I have brought this to the attention of my Congressman and he is receptive to this...We need to see movement starting Monday...

From the responses I've seen, congressional involvement has little to offer. Our best help may lie in contacting the Ombudsman. They are the watchdog of USCIS. Their email is: OLUINQUIRIES@DHS.GOV
