I'm here on a B1/B2 visa, husband and I are filing for AOS for me.

Question is we have a place in China, and now are living at his place in the USA.

Should I list my present address on the forms (G-325A, I-485, I-130, etc.) as the US address or use my Chinese address?

We are living at the US address now, but was not sure since I'm a visitor at the moment until we file the paperwork.

Thanks for any advice!

It seems the US address would be the one to use, but I didn't want to list my present address as a US address when I'm still here on a tourist visa.

Trust me I understand :)

I'm a US citizen but I had the same feeling with my fiance. He's also on a tourist visa.

But I believe they are asking for your address in consideration of where you'll be living with the AOS- so I would say use the US address

use address in USA for the I-485 and I-130. study the G-325A, however, as there are places to capture prior addresses.

want a greencard? fill out Q22 properly, on the I-130. Please?

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Hi Darnell,

Yes we will use the US address for current address, prior addresses we be sure to list on the G-325A.

I-130, Q22, we listed as Indianapolis office as instructed on the USCIS site to find the appropriate office. Is this what you mean?

Ran into a little confusion...

On the USCIS site it says our appointments should take place at the Indianapolis, IN office.

I just called regarding another question, and when asked to put in my zip code the automated service said our appointments will be at another location in Michigan. Actually that location is closer to us, but its not what the USCIS site said.

So I asked a USCIS rep over the phone and she said she would put me through to the next level of service since I have gotten conflicting info, but the wait time on the line was 1,800 minutes! haha...

Any advice?

put something there.

Another USCIS human will slot you, somehow, someway, once the paperwork hits their office.

You'll know of that human's decision for slotting in the appointment letter.

Also, don't confuse ASC office with local USCIS office - these are usually different things. Biometrics done at ASC, interviews handled at local USCIS office.
