The employment letter comes from the boss or HR department of your company. It is generally addressed " to whom it may concern ".

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

Some companies like mine have gone totally electronic with the employment letter. It doesn't look like much, just a pdf that lists that I am an active employee and showing my salary each year with a note that it has been "electronically signed". My company's web site says that this is good for visa purposes and doesn't offer a printed letter option unless there are special circumstances of which visas are not one of the exceptions. Any issue with this? This is a very big nationwide company that does business with the government so you'd think they would know but it would be nice to have a confirmation before I send the package to my fiancee.

@ jft ... I'm in a similar situation. My boss wrote me a PDF letter with electronic signature on company letterhead and gave me an original signed copy for my records. I'm just going to send the PDF to my fiancee.

The Moscow embassy may have different requirements than the Kiev embassy, but perhaps this will help you to decide what is best for your situation.
