Hello again everyone.....I am just getting started and I cant believe how many questions have popped up so far! I am still planning on applying for a K3 visa for my husband, but may switch to a CR1. Here is a list of my most concerning questions at the moment.....any help would be greatly appreciated!

1. SS# questions...On the I-130 form it askes for my husbands US Social Security # if any. He has one because he from when he came to the US on a J-1 work and travel visa. It states on his SS card that it is "VALID FOR WORK ONLY WITH DHS AUTHORIZATION" and has no expiration date. is this a valid social security # that I can put on the I-130 form? and should I include a copy of it with his G-325A form?

2. I-129F questions....ok, so this one is really confusing. It is called a petition for fiance but still used for a K3 right? Also I read on the instruction sheet for this form that it is used for bringing a spouse "and" child over to the US. So if I do decide to file for a K3 do I need to fill out this form even if my spouse has no children?

3. I-130 question...When I send this in I know I need to send evidence of a bona fided marriage. I have all kinds of evidence: photos, facebook chats, skype calls, texts, international calling, bording passes for our trips to visit one another, etc. but how I am suppose to send this info. Do they want it all printed out or can I send a CD copy of the photos, or perhaps a flash disc. I just have no Idea...

4. G-325A questions...my husband has already filled this form out for him self and dated and signed it. I have it here with me in the US. But if there is a problem with it not being filled out correctly, does he have to fill out a new one and mail it to me before I can send it in with the I-130? or can he fill out a new one and sign it and e-mail it to me to print and send. (I guess my question is if it need an original signature or not?) Also on this topic...Is there any other information I need to send in about my husband to prove he is who he is? (i.e. - birth certificate, ID card, Passportm etc.)

Sorry for the amount of topics and questions in one post...I hope my questions were clear.

1. When someone is given a SS number it is their number for life. They don't get a new one later on. It is his SS number and should be used on the forms.

2. Don't file a K-3 stay with the CR-1. K-3 is expensive and takes longer than a CR-1. It also is generally closed at the NVC stage and slows down your process because they need to match it to the I-130.

3. You cannot send CDs or any type of computer media. They do not accept this. It all must be paper copys or originals when requested.

4. Signatures must be original signatures on the forms. No scanned copys. He will need to fill it out sign it and send it again.

Follow the guides as to what is needed to be included with the first part of the petition. http://www.visajourney.com/content/i130guide1

Research the Consulate for his country and see what is needed for later.

Inky gave you great advice, I'd like to echo what Inky said about the I129f for the K-3 visa, don't bother with it. It rarely results in a visa and when it does it takes longer than the Cr1 spousal visa and is more expensive in the long run. When we petitioned, the I130/129F combo were being approved 6-8 weeks AFTER the stand alone I130s

good luck
