police cert in london...what is it?

Hi all,

I have sent away for my police cert and now have it in my hand. Does not look like it is an important document to me!!

Is it supposed to just say in writing on the document, that i have no convictions/prosecutions? Says there is no information on me in the personal record catagory.

Is this all i need?

They have to get it to you within 40 days. It always seems to take that long in general. Send your own application off in good time....

Just a little point of clarification.....all UK police certs don't physically look the same. It's the wording that's important.
