I think you need to have this qualified by USCIS i.e. call & verify that your VA income is acceptable income requirement, & if you need proof indicating annual payments. If so, contact your VA financial department & request these. Always cover your bases...

hello everyone i am a newbie and i have few questions regarding i134 requirements. My fiancee is from the Philippines I am Planning to gather much info and requirements for i134 affidavit of support.

1: I am retired and i receive 2 checks per month... Total is $5082.62 per month of tax free money.

from va and other check

2: I will not include my 2 kids (20&25) as dependants. they are of age.

3: Will i need a co sponsor?

4: Will i need to include my assets as proof? bank statement, etc

what are the proofs (copies) i need to send to my fiancee , i understand that i need to send the original form of I134 with my original signature

Thank you VJ family

For a family of 2, you and her, you need to make $19,387 a year. You do not qualify on your income and will need a sponsor.

Often Manila does not accept co-sponsors for K-1 petitions. Unless it is a close family member, mother, father, brother etc.

I am seriously confused!! How is it that a man who says his income is over $60,000 a year is NOT qualified when the income requirement is $19,387???

I am so confused either. but I do file taxes every year and i got 5000 dollars every month. And i will not count my 2 kids as dependents...

Did you go to the link with the I-864P and read it? Then no confusion should exist.
