its been over a month and im yet to recieve form I-797 by mail

or perhaps there was a typo with your address? Do you have scanned copies, or exact copies of what you sent? Check them over if you do.

Double check with him and make sure. He's the one that will get the letter, or it could have been lost in the mail. Otherwise if you are concerned about a delay, and I doubt there would be for the NoA1, have him contact the USCIS to inquiry about it. They will give you the definite answer you seek.

The same thing happened to me. When I called them, everything was correct so I am unsure to this date whatever happened to it. They sent out a new copy and I had it within a week.

I suggest just call them and let them know. I assume they can do the same for you.

No she dint, probably coz we haven't gotten to that stage yet. I guess the right thing to do is contact USCIS, xcept someone on here has had same xperience. Plz SHARE

Do you have your EAC receipt number? It appears that you do. If that is the case, I wouldn't sweat it too much. With your receipt number you can check the status of your petition online with USCIS. The receipt number is actually the most important thing with NOA1, either electronic or hard-copy. Save and print-out that email.

Now the NOA2 notice is a different matter. It will be necessary to provide a copy of your NOA2 later on in the AOS process.
