anxious!! help! just sent my K1 package!

Hi guys! okay, i know it's too early for me to be so anxious but i can't help it.. I sent my I-129F package last Thursday May 23, 2013 with next day delivery.. I attached the E-notification form with it.. I had the package tracked and it was received and signed by a certain K. Erichsen at 10:30 am May 24, 2013 Friday.. Aren't they supposed to email me once they received the package, right? Time check, it's May 25, 2013 Saturday 12:46 am here in Texas, and i still don't have any emails from them, nothing, nada.. and today is saturday, office closed, am getting anxious.. il don't wanna feel this way all weekend! waaaaah!

if you tracked it and it says that they got it, I wouldn't panick. It IS the holiday weekend after all and text/emails may be delayed a little for that reason. I would say, if you don't have anything by next Tuesday or Wednesday, give them a call.

Don't stress about it if you can help it. You'll have plenty time to stress and worry over the next 7 months or so!

Hate to say it but you'll probably get your package bounced back if there's no check...but don't panic. Process is a long one anyway, that's just a little bump on the road.

Hunnee, least someone signed for yours! *grumble grumble* mine got rejected at the post level. Not sure if to blame a USPS worker making a big oopsie or disgruntled desk worker...

One thing you've got to remember though, it's government, they'll do things on their own time. Least it got there!

No worries it will take a little while before they text/email you the notice. Being the holiday weekend, and no work monday, you'll probably wait a few more days. I sent mine on a 15th and received a text message on the 24th, though I used 2 day shipping.

As for the other guy, what pro_stars says is going to happen to your petition. It's going to be sent back to you if you didn't include the check, send it back and make sure the very first thing they see when they open the packet is that nice little check waiting for them.

No worries. Ours was received Dec. 27, and our NOA1 was dated Dec. 31. In your case it might take longer before they notify you because it's a long weekend (Memorial Day on Monday the 27th).

my fiance also sent mine around the same time as you, we tracked it and saw it has been delivered but we haven't received any emails yet either...looks like we'll be in the long wait together

Sorry guys it took me a long time to respond. I confirmed from her and she said she sent a bank draft with the packet though she haven't heard from them yet but hopefully we will get our first update anything soon. I hope and pray that May filers will get NOA2 in less than 4 months. Amen.
