My wife and I live in Knoxville, Tennessee. Using the USCIS office locator, it says she would have to go to Memphis for her interview. But how can I find the nearest location for the oath? I saw that she is supposed to list where she wishes to take her oath at, but I dont know how to find the nearest location.

Thanks for the help.

Well personally for me I did a google search for "Naturalization ceremony locations iowa". It gave me this result: http://www.iasd.uscourts.gov/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=112&Itemid=165

So I can see where I can take my Oath in Davenport or Des Moines on specific dates. When asked I could pick which date works based on the interview date. You should do a search for your location.

Where did you "see she is supposed to list where she wishes to take her oath at"? I've completed my forms and have seen no such listing option. Nor have I been asked as yet. I assume maybe you're talking at interview?

Well, no... I am talking about a sample cover letter that asks for that information for sending in for someone who is in the military applying for citizenship. It said on the cover letter to be filled out the following:

NAME: XXXXXXX USCIS “A” Number: XXXXXXXXX

1. USCIS office where member wishes to be interviewed: XXXXXXXXX

2. USCIS office where member wishes to receive the Oath of Allegiance: XXXXXXXX

3. Applicant is unavailable for interview/oath (inclusive dates): XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

And I did a google search for east Tennessee last night too, and wasnt able to find anything in east Tennessee like for Iowa. I could just put Memphis, since there is a USCIS office there, but that is an 8 hour drive one way from us and if there would be somewhere closer it sure would help us out a lot. Memphis would be a 2 day trip for us with an energetic and fussy 3 year old boy.
