How Many Sept Filers Are Manically Checking For Touches?

First, apologies to those who've been in the queue far longer than me already. This waiting sucks, and may your patience, and even your lack of patience and extreme frustration with this process, be soon rewarded.

Second, I'm just curious how many other Sept filers are out there like me (NOA1 on Sept 14th from CSC) who are manically checking the the USCIS site for touches. It seems there is a 60 to 70 sweet spot now for post IMBRA filers waiting for NOA2s. True or delusion on my part? It also seems the tryptophan has kicked in early at the CSC cuz I'm not seeing the usual level of activity reported on this site. Thoughts?

09/15/06 - Check cashed.

09/16/06 - Return receipt from USPS received.

09/17/06 - Touched.

11/30/06 - Touched! (Could this be it?)

11/30/06 - Electronic NOA2 received.

12/06/06 - Courtesy hardcopy of NOA2 received. (Original sent to lawyer.)

12/11/06 - NVC gave me DOS case # by phone and confirmed BKK mailing.

12/25/06 - Submitted Packet 3 to BKK Embassy (using copies of forms).

01/06/07 - Pim received Packet 3 harcopy.

I agree totally..on everything.. I'm a 9/19 reciept date filer... and I'm not seeing much this week...Hopefully they have a mind set... Easy this week,,,bust our butts next week..

9/19 NOA1 CSC Recieved

9/25 Notice date Check cashed 9/25

9/28 I Recieved NOA1(I-797C) in the mail

12/5 NOA2 12/6 but Approved on 12/5 touch

12/9 Received NOA2(I-797) by snail mail

12/15 NVC has received it..Case # issued...

12/19 NVC shipped to Romania

12/22 Romanian Embassy has received an email from NVC that my Petition is on it's way...

12/29 Packet 3 sent to Veronica

1/12 2007 Packet 3 received Dang Holidays..

1/22 Sending all paperwork(I-134,Bank/Employer letters etc..,)..to Veronica per DHL, 3.5lbs...$144 WOW!

1/25 Recieved notice that She needs to pick up my packet in Chisinau..

2/16 Transit Visa to go to Romania for the Interview approved..

2/20 Leaves for Bucharest overnight drive by bus...

iam right there with you guys, iam a 9/18 NOA1...iam just wondering does anybody know the office hours of the CSC? iam hoping that today they will see the light and give us all a thanksgiving NOA2....this waiting can drive a man insane! good to know there are others with me here :)

March 2006--Met while studying together in Bremen, Germany(what an unbelievable blessing)

May 2006----I flew from Frankfurt to Minsk, Belarus to be with her and her family(best time of my life)

July 2006----Presented her with a ring in Warsaw...the most wonderful, but fastest days of my life

July 2006----Back in Kansas, feeling half the man iam without her

September 2006--File for the I-129F at the NSC, then diverted to the CSC

September 2006--NOA1, CSC, September 18

October 2006-----Touched, only to correct a minor error in the spelling of my adress(better safe then sorry)

January 19th 2007---I just can't belive this, the day has come! Ketino and I are approved!!What a wonderful fealing it is!!

January 31st---NVC mailes packet to U.S embassy in Warsaw, Poland.

February 13th-- Ketino recieves packet 3 from the embassy

February 14th-- Ketino sends the packet back to the emabssy

On the topic of touches, I was interested to read Jezebelseven's post which stated that she never got any touches, but received an NOA2 e-mail today.

Well I'm a mid-October filer (I-130 but so what) and I'm already manically checking for a touch. I know I'm probably 20 to 30 days early, but I just gotta, know what I mean?

What I really wanted to say is it looks like CSC is working on AOS applications right now. They seem to work on a particular kind of application in blocks. So I'm sure as soon as they get back to petitions we'll be seeing lots more approvals, and hopefully that will be before Christmas.

I was a mad woman last week. Before our touch on the 14th, I checked a few times each day. After that I was checking all the freakin time. I got locked out of my account a lot. I went a little crazy.

It's all over now. It's like a distant memory! Soon it will be the same for you! But that was no consolation for me a few days ago. Fortunately, our madness doesn't slow time.

On the topic of touches, I was interested to read Jezebelseven's post which stated that she never got any touches, but received an NOA2 e-mail today.

On the other hand, I got touched when my application was approved, but received no email and there was no online status update. So I didn't know it was an approval till the hard copy arrived in the mail on Monday.

Even now my status is -

Current Status: Case received and pending.

On September 5, 2006, we received this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)...

My poor I-129f friends, USCIS loves to torture you.

I'm another one - September 18th was my NOA1.

I check once and awhile but now I realize that people are approved with no update change, no touches, no e-mails and then their NOA2 in the mail.

Therefore, I guess I'll find out some way and maybe it will be a (wonderful) surprise.

I noticed alot of action in the beginning of Nov. for Sept NOA1s.

Good news: I know one couple (NOA1 9/6) and another (NOA1 9/11) be approved 11/16 and 11/20 respectively.

I hope we have more NOA2s by the end of the month!

Hi, I was approved thanksgiving day NOA2. Was so excited!!!!!! Now I am wondering if anyone can tell us what the next steps are and maybe a processing time.

The waiting especially when you get so close to a realistic time for approval is awful! Hang in there. Once it comes you will no longer be turles but moving like rabbits. (F)

I'm Sept 22 Noa1 and no touches yet -- but i'm checking. I agree with Bora Bora...sometimes I feel like when I check it does not good since I may just get home one day and have good news in the mail.

I'll be in brazil with my girl starting friday and will check the website once a day, though :)

Oh, one last thing: I have noticed that CSC seems to be getting to the mid September filers and a few of us towards the end...which is good news.

9-26-06: Touched

9-30-06: NOA1 received
