here is my stituation, i m a "us citizen" and my dad is "green card holders". currently i can only petition for my sister.

or should i wait 3 years when my dad become "us citizen" to petition for my sister?

if i petition for my sister now, when my dad become "us citizen" will my sister petition get bump up in line?

any inputs will be greatly appreciated

03/2006 ...HCMC Consulate Sends Packet 3

visa not approve - need irs 1722, birth cert., medical

7/?/2006 ...summit birth cert, irs1722

12/28/06 ...TB treatment completed

12/29/06 ...medical sent USC

1/08/07 ...USC recieved medical

1/15/07 ...spent day in USC, request USC to review our case,

receive red form(appointment to receive visa 1/19/07)

1/16/07 ...USC call request ds156

1/18/07 ...summit ds156

1/19/07 ...USC call request 5mmX5mm photo

1/19/07 ...12:00pm summit photo to USC

1/19/07 ...4:30pm receive visa

You can petition at any time and your father can also petition when he becomes a citizen. It is ok to have two petitions for the same person, you could consider one as backup in case something happens to one of the petitioners. Your petition is seperate from your father's (when he files one) and will retain the same priority date as when originally filed. They are considered as two seperate petitions.

since my sister has a husband and two kids "ages 5 and 6".

do i need to file a petition for each one "husband and two kids".

Just the Sister, Husbands can change and kids age out.

This is one of the cases where your sibling petition at 12 years is probably faster than your fathers. For your father to file he must be a USC ( 5 years after green card) and wiat for the married adult child visa class. It is one of th classes that may be eliminated. ( along with siblings )

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.
