i got the same update BUT we calles the service center and they toldnus form i797 would be coming in the mail! which means NOA 2! anyone else had the same experience? maybe you should just call the service hotline and enter your number and find out!

Its says in notice that we will receive notice of approval or if office needs something from us via mail. And I hope it will be soon. Already 5 months wait, and there are people who wait even more.

the weird thing is that in our notice on the website it doesnt speak about approval but the automatic speaker person on the service hotline tells us that they mailed the i797 to us

In my notice on website says that they mailed us only notice of transfer, still waiting for that letter, and they said that the ' u will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you' .

I wonder what happens to the people who didnt get transferred, like if VSC are going to jump straight to us from november (assuming all dec files got transferred) or whether we will get moved this week

i heard some people being transfered from Texas service center to Vermont???? probably after completing november filers they will start on late january.. my guess

From texas to vermont huh? I didnt even know they did K1s in texas, well going from november to late jan would be fab

All notifications are called I797C. A transfer notice would be an i797C. NOA1 has the same number.

It is called a Notice of Action, but your action can be received, transferred, request for more evidence, or approved.

On May 24tj, 2013 USCIS sent you a notice on form i797 to indicate that we have transferred your petetion to another office for processing because that office now has jurisdiction over your case.

Form i797 explains how we will process the case.

Please follow any instructions that appear on i797.

To me this means that the NOA2 is on its way to us!

It just means your case has been transferred, no indication of an NOA2, though i pray it will come to you swiftly

As nich nich said that form is a form that notifies u of a transfer not an approval

Right, all the notices have the same number, and this time the notice is about the transfer, and after that is a notice of decision made (approval or denial). All the notices are 797 number, its not just NOA2 that has that particulr number.

We got the same on MAy 24th, too. We are January 2013 filers. Hope it is a good sign for everybody.
