Ok, I don't feel so alone....lol...at first I thought it was a NOA2, but much to my despair, no. At least they are making an effort to speed things up I hope. After all that excitement then instant depression, it's time for a Friday bar run.

It'd be hard to interpret this as anything but good news. Vermont have realized they can't cope with the backlog and at their current rate, December/January filers would be waiting a ridiculous amount

We got the same thing today, Dec 20th filer at VSC. No hard copy as far as I know yet, but not home to get the mail. Also no e-mail... which worries me.

Hoping this speeds things up, we are right at the 5 month mark and could really use some good news after 3 months apart with no hope of seeing each other until we get an approval and interview date!

Did anyone else nearly soil themselves when they saw an e-mail from USCIS with their case number as the subject line? I nearly had a panic attack, read it quickly and had to run the the toilet. Stomach flipped when I saw "New e-mail from: USCIS". D=

I was at work in our breakroom eating a mid-morning snack and I saw the subject line come across my phone...instant loss of appetite with a build up of extreme gas. I headed straight for the bathroom, popped a squat, only to be more nervous and confused. Luckily it's happening to everyone.

We got the message too.. we filed December 19th. Hope this is indeed going to speed things up! that would be amazing!

We met when Heather travelled to Egypt to be an au pair!

Our K1 Visa Journey:

12/19/12- NOA1 -VSC

--- moved to "another office" 5/24/13

--- moved to "local office" 5/29/13

--- "is now being processed at a USCIS office" 5/30/13 ... what??

5/30/13- Transfer to TSC

6/18/13- NOA2

7/16/13- NVC Assigned Case #

7/29/13- Case Arrived at Embassy

7/31/13- Packet 3 Received (completed and sent back in 5 days)

1/16/14- Interview Assigned

1/21/14- Interview

2/03/14- Visa Issued!!

4/09/14- Entry into America (JFK)

4/23/14- MARRIED in local courthouse

4/29/14- AoS packet completed and mailed

5/02/14- NoA for AoS received

5/09/14- Biometrics Appointment Notice Received

6/04/14- Biometrics Appointment

7/30/14- EAD/AP Combo Card Received in Mail

We got this too i129f - NOA1 Dec7th - hopefully transferring will mean that it gets sorted soon, as we are already well out of the 5 month window. Good to know we're not alone though. Fingers crossed for everyone.

I'm very happy for you all! It sounds like great news! Keep us posted! I'm wondering if it will mean other types of visa's are going to be prioritized and it won't change anything for the rest of us waiting OR if it is going to put us 2 months closer. (oh please, please, please, be 2 months closer)

We too got this email and SMS. At least I know they have my contact info correct. Called and left my number, they called me back in 15 minutes. She could not tell me much except to say it could be good news. Dec. 11 filer. Well I only had a month to wait based on all indications...

November 14th 2012: Started our relationship
February 8th 2013: He traveled to the UK and we met for the first time ♥

I think what people will post here should not be laughed at. Everybody here is in their desperate times, so at times we would believe what these people are saying at USCIS. When we called USCIS about the change in status, they give us the answer that our case is transfered to CSC. And other one have been given the answer that their case is transfered to TSC. How do we really know?? Lets just support each other and lift spirits up. Yes we might got a hilarious answer from them but at least lets not laugh at each other for believing something they say that maybe are far fetch. A small window of answer from them could mean a lot to someone else here. Thank you..

Anyone else who didn't get the e-mail? Only on USCIS page says that the case is transfered????

[August 2012] Steve visits me again in the Uk for our second meeting for just one weekend! [March 6th 2014] AoS Interview - Passed
[september 2012] My first trip to America to visit the love of my life
[November 2012] I travel to America for my first ever thanksgiving with Steves family!
[December 2012] Steve comes to the Uk to spend xmas with my family!

[August 16th 2013] CEAC updates - London logs my medical results

[August 23rd 2013] I call DoS and they tell me my interview date, (2 weeks since I sent ds-2001)

[August 27th 2013 CEAC update - London dispatches packet 4]

[August 29th 2013] Packet 4 received
[september 24th 2013] Interview - Refused due to passport and birth certificate condition

[september 26th 2013] Emergency appt at HM Passport Office London - New Passport and Birth Certificate in hand
[september 30th 2013] DX collects passport and birth certificate

[October 3rd] - Docs delivered to Embassy

[October 10th] - London Approves and Issues our Visa!!

[October 16th 2013] 4.00pm - Visa in my hand, 11pm POE -Newark

No notification as well. I dont know whats up with the supystem beacuse prior to that we did some configuration with our address but no notice on the website, i hope it wouldnt affect us at all if we didnt get the notification,

01/14/14 - For Delivery with USPS Tracking No.

10/09/15 - Eligible for ROC

10/21/15 - I-751 Packet mailed via USPS (2 day Priority Mail)

10/23/15 - Delivered to USCIS California Service Center

10/27/15 - $590 charged to account.

10/29/15 - received NOA dated 10/23/15

11/06/15 - Biometrics received for 11/18/15 appointment
