It'd be hard to interpret this as anything but good news. Vermont have realized they can't cope with the backlog and at their current rate, December/January filers would be waiting a ridiculous amount

*shrug* Ok. Important thing is that both centers recognized their backlogs and did something about it.

So does this seem to be the case for all VSC Dec - Jan filers? Or only some?

Pretty sure it's all of us. :)

On May 24, 2013, we transferred this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E) to another office for processing because they now have jurisdiction over the case. We sent you a notice of this transfer. Please follow any instructions on this notice. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

I had hope in Vermont. Its depressing me sad.png . I hope we all get approvals.

December filer here.

It'd be hard to interpret this as anything but good news. Vermont have realized they can't cope with the backlog and at their current rate, December/January filers would be waiting a ridiculous amount of time. There'd be no point transferring any if the new place does anything slower. They've acknowledged the problem and are trying to help fix it.

Exactly, on monday our case is 5months and 3 weeks and I'm actually very happy to know that our case was touched although it was only for a transfer but I think it's a good sign and I have Hope that this means an approval may will be close.
