What the GZ team has done is to narrow the focus. By excluding TM's past and irrelevent BS, they have also successfully excluded GZs past and irrelevent BS. Any mention of GZs past will sustain an objection based on the grounds that it is just as irrelevent as TM's. And you thought they had no idea what they were doing? You thought THEY were stupid?

They also managed to raise more than $600,000 with the recent publicity for the defense and were successful in shutting out the prosecution proposal of a gag order so they can continue to raise awareness ...and money.

Ideally the defense would like to narrow the focus to the exact moment that TM was bashing GZs head on the ground. They aren't there yet, but this helps.
