I have very recently made a statement to the effect. Not sure why anyone would use the term "admitting" in that context. One admits to having lied or committed a crime or whatnot. Last I checked, it was not against the law to be a liberal. In fact, as I pointed out, this country was founded on the very idea of liberalism. If conservatives would have had a say, we'd still be subjects of the Queen. As far as I can see, there's certainly nothing wrong with being a liberal.

Issues like this are why we need the bill of rights and second amendment. Amazing how the same people that want to take away your rights to own guns also attack your 4th amendment and 1st amendment rights. All surprised people...raise your hand!

It is also why we need the FAIR TAX!

We need to get the politics out of the revenue stream for government and create a reliable, politically tamper-proof system to provide revenue for needed government functions.

As I have said before, with all this talk of "change" under Obama, there is no possibility for change as long as we keep the same system in place.

1. Eliminate congressional districts and have "at large" elections for congresspersons just as we do for Senators.

2. Eliminate elections for Senators and appoint them as we used to do. We need to have one house of the legislative branch of government which is not for sale (this also eliminates the need for "campaign reform" as there is no campaign to reform)

3. FAIR TAX. Tax on spending, NOT on income. The same rate for all people. Make the USA a tax shelter for employers. Unemployment problem solved. No politics, no tax exempt organizations because there is no income tax to be exempt from.

4. Eliminate the Electoral College, it is far past its use (if it ever had one)

5. Punish employers/abusers/exploiters of illegal aliens with punitive taxes. Make hiring illegals economical suicide. Immigration problem solved.
