Standard paper in most cases following the interview. The interview was a success, but it now pends on a clearance from security checks which take place in Washington DC. These can take a couple of weeks to a few months. You will get the call after the checks are cleared to pick up the visa. Lots of experience on this board with this process. Some have called the DOS to check on the process of the security checks with varing amounts of sucess.

I'm sure you will hear soon. Just another difficult period of waiting. (F)

8 April 2009 Biometric notice arrived by mail

24 April 2009 Biometrics scheduled

26 April 2009 Touched

...once again waiting

1 September 2009 (just over 5 months) Approved and card production ordered.

You have a standard name check going thru Washington DC. You will have to wait for it to process and hopefully it will not be too long since you are coming from Moroco they have a pretty good turn around time. Once your check is complete the file will be sent to the embassy and they will contact you to come and get your visa.

Hang in there and your in the final stages.
