Does anyone know where I can get an estimate on the US Consulate visa processing times in Tirana, Albania for Immigrant Visas? They only give estimates for non-immigrant Visa's and I can't find any updated 2013 timelines from Albania that would answer my question.

Thank you. I called last night and they told me on the phone. I called them every day. :( They may send an email or they may not. I am hoping the next email I get is an interview date and I can't seem to find anything for 2013 average waits for interviews in Tirana for immigration visas. I asked around and they said a month but all last years timelines look like it is 2 months or more and it doesn't seem like Albanians like to update their timelines on here. lol This site helped me a lot, I hope I can help as well.

The NVC on April-05-2013 completed the immigrant visa petition:
During this time we are waiting for an appointment to be scheduled at the U.S. Embassy in TIRANA, ALBANIA.
I sent an email ( May 20,2013) to the embassy to confirm me the date of interview and they respond to me:(The Consular Section of the U.S. Embassy in Tirana does not have a record of any case ) Idon't know why it take so longer to scheduled that appointment?!

A friend of mine at work did the I 130 for his mother. He is like 2 months ahead of us in the process and he told me ,month an half from case completion they give the interview date. So keep the hope high.....

I got my case complete letter today. 8 days later.

Dear Sir or Madam:

The National Visa Center has received all documentation necessary to complete pre-processing

of your case. As soon as an interview date has been scheduled, the applicant, petitioner

and attorney (if applicable) will be notified.

My case was completed on May 21, 2013. I received the email from NVC yesterday. Today, I just checked status online, my case is in transit to Consulate. I think yours could be tomorrow. Check your status online.

I-130 Sent: 7/31/2012

I-130 Approved: 3/14/2013

NVC Received: 4/3/2013

NVC Case# Assigned: 4/9/2013

NVC Case Completed: 5/21/2013

Left NVC 5/30/2013

Consular Received: 8/24/2013

Received P4 Instruction Sheet: 09/09/2013

Medical Exam: 09/23/2013

Interview Date:10/10/2013

Result: AP

10/18/2013: submitted requested documents through CITIC Bank

10/29/2013: Visa Issued - Approved

11/07/2013: Picked up passport and visa at Citibank

Shpresa quick question. Did you send the old I 864 or the new one. I send the new I 864 and they say: we don't have a procedure how to review them yet and they are on hold...Unbelievable after all this wait with uscis now we have to wait with nvc again

Wow!!! That is horrible!! I sent the old one. The new one wasn't available when I did them, I did them early and had them sitting there waiting to be sent. I feel for you. This last few months was the hardest wait.
