Has anyone with experience of the Sydney Medical Doctor been able to book and complete their medical prior to recieving their case number?

I tried booking a medical without a case number and was declined. I called back once I had the case number and they booked me in (a 4 week wait, which I didn't think was too bad). They ask you to confirm the booking via an email, and in the email you have to include the case number. The case number arrived 2 weeks after we received the NOA2 email (hard copy, in our mail box here in Sydney). Hope that helps.

I called and booked with Dr Waks without a case number. The receptionist tried to tell me that I needed an interview date before I could book, but I told her I can't get a date without having done the medical and that I will have the case number by the time of my medical. Then she booked me in for 3 weeks later to make sure my case number arrived in time.

You will need the case number at the medical though, because they send the results direct to the consulate so they need this to match it up to your details.
