As I said, I won't debate this with you anymore as myself and other members have had the same debate with you and it's going in one ear and out the other. I don't have issues with you, I have issues with your constant insistence that VSC "isn't that bad" and everytime a VSC filer tries to vent about the rut we're in, you come chiming in with the "Oh, well CSC is quite bad too". Bit difficult when you see tons of CSC NOA2s everyday on Igor's List, "CSC - Approved!" topics everyday and we're sitting here anticipating to wait months more while people who filed months after us get approved. Zooropa was dead right in that he said VSC filers never came booting their opinions in, being insensitive saying "Oh don't worry, it's not that bad, we're only a couple of months ahead", but as soon as the shoe's on the other foot, there is a CSC white knight brigade. There are some CSC 2012 filers still waiting who could be approved at any time. VSC has also skipped filers, and December/January filers have months left to wait. But there's only a "perceived gap". I'll tell that to the majority of those who are currently getting their NOA2s in 3/4 months when I've waited 6 months+ for mine.

First things first, please for the sake of both our sanity, read my posts fully. I have stated NUMEROUS times, and again here that VSC is doing a poor job and people SHOULD be upset. I even added tips on what to do to vent at the proper people in the hopes of making it better, so please stop insinuating that I don't think VSC is that bad. That's a complete fabrication of my opinion.

Secondly, I never said CSC is as bad. Read what I actually say and stop interpreting it in some way that changes the meaning. What I said and I'll repeat it here to be completely clear on the matter. There are plenty of people from CSC who are also and rightfully so, complaining that CSC has left them behind in OCT/NOV while working through 2013 cases.

CSC is likely 2 months ahead of VSC right now overall, and that is because CSC is still dilligently working through cases. The problem CSC people are having is that they are not processing them in any type of order that makes any sense. Still many 2012 cases left behind while working on 2012. We can all agree that is unfair especially being within the same service center.

Again, yes VSC is behind, No, it's not the way it should be. Yes people should be upset about it. I'm not at VSC and it upsets me, because I know that this system is cyclical, and both service centers have ups and downs, but there is NO excuse for them getting outside the 5 month goal. I truly hope that people from VSC contact their elected officials en masse and also write letters and email the actual Vermont Service Center all at once and get their attention.

I hope everyone at Vermont gets their wish and they get their act together.

I also hope that CSC continues their pace, but get their act together and take care of those 2012 people post haste

I don't get your point :S. A lot of this data isn't relevant now as this was during CSC's I-129F coma when they were processing next to nothing. It's since April that they went above and beyond and are now well within the 5 month goal. What do you mean?

AOS posted - 02/18/2014

NOA1 - 03/04/2014
Biometrics - 03/28/2014
EAD in post - 5/5/2014

EAD in hand - 5/10/2014
Interview waiver letter received - 6/9/2014

Card production notice - 1/10/2015

ROC mailed - 10/11/2016

ROC received at CSC - 10/18/2016

Interview Notice Received - 3/30/2017

CSC had a lot application on hand. That's why they need to speed up the process. VSC is about 6 month mark at all times?

Honestly they should both be within 5 months at all times. Anything more than that is truly uncalled for. The system is a disorganized mess at both (I would bet all) service centers, and there really seems to be no real organization. If this were a business, management would be at the very least in fear for their jobs at this very moment, but it's government and it's our only legal recourse

Well, they are not running for profit. But I wish they would have the service like ordering your passport. You can pay more to expedit it. I guess DHS is the newest department. They can't be as organized as DOS. Somehow, DOS would control the overall processing time a bit by NVC and consulate processing time.

Department of Homeland Security is relatively new, but the visa process isn't new and there should be an organized method of getting through these applications in a timely fashion. There really is no excuse for it, but outside of complaining to our centers or our respective Service Centers, It's pretty much out of our control.

If I129f could be processed at local office just like N400, and I485, I bet California wouldn't be so fast at all.
