Ok, I have tried looking around and not finding this answer. Other then the forms ( i485,g325a,i131, i-864) and certified copies of your marriage certificiate. Do we need to submit anything else? LIke pictures, bank statements, "proof of relationship" stuff. I know we may be asked for these things during the interview if we get an interview, but do we submit it ahead of time as well?

Don't forget the I-765 too. You do not need proof of marriage/relationship other than the copy of your certified marriage certificate. Take other evidence of marriage and co-mingling with you to your interview, if you even have one. Just make sure to include all the required documentation that goes along with the forms. http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1k3aos

Agree with Jay-Kay, we didn't include any relationship evidence in our package. But, when we were notified of an interview, I printed out a ton -- bank statements, insurance info, 401(k) beneficiary details, lease agreement, etc.

If I understand correctly you have filed K1, right? if so, be very careful not to file anything that would indicate marriage related. Meaning, if you have done introduction or any celebration which looks like marriage when you are dealing with Lagos. They could deny you for that if they think you filed for K1 and you two are traditionally married or look like it.

With that said, yes pictures with family and friends, bank statements or a letter from your bank showing consistent deposits into your account such as your payroll check, etc. Have your relatives and his write a letter stating that you two are in a loving relationship and they are vouching for your ongoing relationship and family could say in the letter that you two have their blessings. Front load the letters and pictures etc.

Remember you are dealing with US Embassy in Nigeria, be prepared and cautious. God bless and good luck!

They already received the K-1, are married and applying for adjustment of status to get a green card. They have to send a copy of the certified marriage certificate at this stage.

Oh no we are way past that phase of things my husband is already in the states. We are married both traditionally and "court."
