I hope I am posting this question in the right place. I wasn't sure where to place it. My husband received his 10 year green card 3 years ago. (We applied for a K-1 visa and he was approved for the 10 year card in 2010). We obviously no longer have any open/pending cases. Now we are about to move, and I am aware that he will have to fill out a change of address form. But do I need to fill out a form as well? We have been married for 5 years. Am I still considered his sponsor after all of this time? I have done some searching, but I am getting some conflicting information. We moved once before, but it was right after we were married. So I had to fill out a form then--that was understanable because I was still considered reponsible for him at that time. I just want to make sure that if I have to do it again, that I take care of ASAP. Does anyone know? energy.gif

Once he has either become a US citizen or worked 40 quarters, the I-864 contract is completed and you no longer have to file the change of address form. Until then, you need to file it every time you move. The AR-11 (immigrant's change of address) can be completed online, but at the moment the I-865 (sponsor's change of address) has to be mailed in.
