Case Complete at NVC

Just learnt this morning that our case has been completed at the NVC!!

Now I'm wondering: does anyone know how long it takes London to schedule a green card interview after they receive the stuff from NVC?

I have of course looked it up and seen responses varying from two weeks (although I think that was a K3) but there's another Green Card UK couple on here who have been waiting since the beginning of October and not got an interview date yet.

The official info is that London takes 4-12 weeks.

Is that 4-12 weeks to SCHEDULE an interview, which is then another 4 weeks? Or is that 4-12 weeks between receiving package and having the interview? Because I seem to remember that when you get your interview letter through, the interview is usually scheduled about a month in advance.

Any info would be much appreciated!

First give them around 2 weeks to receive the information from NVC and put it in their system. You can email them and ask if they have it at that time. Then it will take 4-12 weeks to get your packet. Do remember the Holidays are coming up and that may put a delay in the time.

Nothing is written in stone, and London has been slower than it used to. London received our case at the end of May and our interview was August the 11th.

Hi! Yes, you were the couple I mentioned!

Better prepare myself for a bit of a wait yet then, I guess!

Doesn't she/he need the CR-1 or K-3 timelines and not the K-1's?

you are correct. But they can search themselves! People who ask without even trying to search timelines get on my nerves!

That's why I didn't post it, I thought they could use your link to go to the other timelines! ;):D

Shut up Devilette. People like you get on my nerves, who lash out at others for no reason. If you weren't so thick, you would have read my post where I said I had looked. I didn't think I had to defend myself from the hostile, but obviously I do:

For your information, there were a grand total of two records of UK couples who had a similar timeline to me, doing CR-1 and going through London. I DID A SEARCH FOR THOSE WITH SIMIALR STATS TO MYSELF.

So I'll ask whatever I bloody well like on VisaJourney, so keep your nasty little opinions to yourself and stop being such a sanctimonious little prig. I bet you're a right pain to live with. How do people like you ever get married? I expect it's your type who end up divorced.

I was merely asking a question because I wanted to, I DID look at the info, and I also said I had in my post.

I would take a long hard look at why you need to start arguments with strangers - if you aren't married yet I guess you can't take your personality out on him yet. God, poor bloke.

I expect you're horrible in real life.

And Devilette, I don't need people like you sniping away in the background like an office bit*h. Do you also have the education level and tight clothing?

We were all being perfectly nice to each other before you came along with your unhelpful, inflammatory comment.

It's like Waynetta suddenly appearing on the set of Friends, in her stained tracksuit and nasty manner.

Thank you for your support, Dan+Nikki. Everything was fine till a bit of nasty-dust was sprinkled by you-know-who. I detest people like that and they need to be told where to get off.
