Blue or Black Ink??

Hi guys!

I know it's kind of a simple question but I just wanna ask if I can use BLUE Ink to sign some of the forms?? Would it matter?? Or do I only need to use BLACK ink?? ('coz when I signed with black ink, my signature looks like photocopied haha!)

We used blue ink and we had no problems. I don't think it really matters, but if you don't want to risk anything, then use black ink.

Some recommend blue ink for signing forms for the exact reason you explained above.

I know for their requirements it doesn't matter blue or black. However, having worked in the Government myself for 10 years and counting we've grown accustomed to signing everything in blue ink. With this said I think signing in blue ink would look more professional in their eyes. No idea if it would have any effect on the processing times though.

I heard about people getting RFE's because it actually looked like a photocopy but the petitioner swore it was black ink, she made sure she sent them back in blue ink. Anybody else had any trouble turning in their forms in blue ink?
