Today i woke up with this pain in my heart i cant see myself waiting for 6-7 more months i will go crazy my relationship is already rocky i just want to be with my future husband. Im writting pacrell idc!

I know how you feel Hunnie :(

my relationship with my future husband is great...but if im away or we haven't seen each other for too long its no so great anymore, it's so hard being away, and just talk on the phone, chat, etc that it does become almost impossible not to be down, depressed, grumpy, and frustrated. It is a constant test and I continue to tell myself that if we are able to pass this we will able to overcome everything in life, this has made us trust each other more, make our patience stronger and be commited to this love whatever happens....this is what gives me hope for us, that we havent given up, our love is strong and we'll make it work. Try focusing on the positive and keep busy gathering documents or reading about the process...it helps me!

Will you be filing the I134 on your own? or do you have a co-sponsor? The reason why i ask is because the co-sponsor makes it easier for you to go wait with your fiance at least for a few weeks...and it's so important some times to have that connection with your love.

Anyways, when im down...i appreciate the words of encouragement....i hope i was able to give you a little of that!

Good luck on your journey!

It sucks...I want to cry too....i will hit the 7 months waiting on Saturday...and when i called today, a tier2 told me they are processing October 1st and that i should wait 25 more days...i felt so hopeless.... sad.png The only thing that made me glad i called was hearing from them that my case seem fine and in order...so hopefully that means no RFE for me....fingers crossed!!

I will continue to pray and bother my congresswoman in hopes to get my NOA2 before the end of the month....my fiance and i are so down and depressed, we have tought about abandoning it all and don't let countries decide our destiny...i know it sounds cheesy but being appart has become so hard, specially because we can't start our lives like we want to...I wish there was an easy way to do it all.

Good luck to you all!

I know how you feel. Its so frustrating to see other dates being processed and then start to feel like your application has gone missing or that something could be wrong. Waiting is the worst especially when there is no set time frame.

Aye make your voices heard, it can never hurt and can make you feel better that you are actively trying to do something. I wholeheartedly plan to send a little myself.

I wrote my congressman weeks ago and never got a response. I've just written my senator and hope for a response but I highly doubt it.

Back in March I had written both my congressman about the immigration reform and how I felt it would hurt us legally in the waiting lines. One replied to me, and the other did not. I think it'####### or miss when it comes to them, but the guy who did has now secured my vote.

Im going to contact my senator! Can someone help me about how i should write the letter?!

Just be concise, clear about your reason for writing and your complaint. If you want to have them look into your case specifically, be sure to include your EAC number and what you require of them. We've written to both our Senator and congressman. They both sent us responses asking for permission to access our case. We responded to the congressman for now, then will send off to the Senator on June 17th.

Something like (obviously including who it's addressed to at the top and whatnot) -

Dear Congressman _____,

I am writing regarding my I-129F Petition for Fiance(e) currently filed at the Vermont Service Center, reference number EAC _____________, and the general processing times for such petitions. The Vermont Service Center........

Yada yada. Whatever you want to put really. Say what's on your mind.

I sent out an email i want. To know how long does it take for me to get a response back?

To your Senator or congressman you mean? Depends, took us two weeks to get a response from the Senator via. post, and an e-mail response from the congressman in about a week. After sending stuff in response to our congressman, took again about a week to say they've recieved it and will look into things for us.

Here are some guidelines that may help http://usgovinfo.about.com/od/uscongress/a/letterscongress.htm. I would try to be as quick and to the point as you can be about your concerns, and try not to be too emotional about it. Remember we are trying to seek their help. The first letter I wrote I also included a small picture of my Fiancee and I, a small human touch to the whole thing I thought. At least lets them physically see the people behind the words.

The update on the USCIS website of October 15,2012 is as of March 31, 2013. That means that the date of october 15 was compiled on information from about a month and a half ago. I think this means that now, May 22th, they should be processing application from a month and a half later, so Late november/early december. since they tend to fall behind, it is more like mid-november to late november petitions. On Igor's List the latest filers are from this time. I have a portfolio of applications around mine on USCIS and one of them was finally touched (RFE). My NOA1 date is Dec. 4. So, based on the USCIS update, the waiting time is about 5 1/2 months, (October 15 to March 31) which we all know can vary. For me, it has been a little over 5 1/2 months so I think it will be soon.

This was my interpretation of the update. If anyone has another idea, let me know. smile.png

That is most likely quite accurate according to USCIS. If you go on the graph/chart thingy on "My Case Status" and select I-129F for VSC, it does actually say 5.5 months.
