I can sympathize with that guy! I wish missionaries would just #### off with all that proselytizing. It's good to give people a taste of their own medicine. In Thailand I'd see missionaries bugging schoolkids! I wonder how Americans would like it if Muslim or Buddhist missionaries were here trying to convert OUR children and telling them that their parents are going to hell for believing the wrong thing. I don't think most people would appreciate that.

Sorry, but I f*cking hate missionaries (even when they are being "polite"). If there were for real atheist missionaries, I'd f*cking hate them too. End of rant.

Yep, I thought this was hilarious, and so fcuking true. What is it they say about payback?

Ahh yes so true..but it would have been funnier if he actually knocked on the doors of people who were harassing him. If there were lots of mormons in that community they prolly wouldn't bother going door to door

Sorry, but Mormons do sometimes arrive in buses/minivans and then pair off. You who are saying "they don't" are neglecting the fact that there are a lot more Mormons in the world than you'll ever meet.

I had two friends in Indy when I worked at the bike shop: Elder Colledge and Elder "Esay". They were from California, staying with a Mormon family while they did they did their thing in Indy. There were (at various times) 4-6 other Mormon Missionaries from other areas staying with the same family. The Mom would drive them all to a central point in Indy (with bikes on the rooftop bike rack) and drop them off.

Elders "Esay" and Colledge and I got along very well. They were eager to learn about my beliefs (Pagan) and didn't give me the conversion speech. While they were here, they also protected me from other Mormons (ie: no knocks on my door at 8am on Saturday. lol) They even gave me a Liahona bicycle (The official Mormon bike).

They, unfortunately, were the exception to the rule. Most of my interactions with Mormons here have been as the others described. They wouldn't take no for an answer, told me my beliefs were wrong, etc. Jehovah's Witlesses are even worse. Would you buy a car from someone going door to door? Then why the hell do they expect you "buy" their religion?

It's annoying, it's harassment, it's offensive.

My experiences with both the Mormons and the Jehova's witnesses have been similar.Of course I'm crazy enough to argue with them when they tell me my beliefs are wrong.I have gotten to the point now that I don't open the door for them.

The mormon missionaries have certain areas that they are assigned to 'track'. There are only 2 or 4 in any one area. So I don't know why there would ever be a bus full of them.

"True freedom and the end of suffering is living in such a way as if you had completely chosen whatever you feel or experience at this moment. This inner alignment with Now is the end of suffering. Is suffering really necessary? Yes and no. If you had not suffered as you have, there would be no depth to you as a human being, no humility, no compassion. You would not be reading this now. Suffering cracks open the shell of ego, and then comes a point when it has served its purpose. Suffering is necessary until you realize it is unnecessary." Eckhart Tolle

That guy's voice makes me want to slap him silly... he's f#ckin annoying.

Yeah, the intro is a bit long too. But the door to door stuff is funny.

Yep, I thought this was hilarious, and so fcuking true. What is it they say about payback?

I remember a few years back when they used to invade my neighborhood literally by the bus-load. One of these guys actually chased me around my lawn whilst I was pushing my very loud mower.

I repeatedly told him I wasn't interested, but I actually had to stop what I was doing to hear what this persistent yokel had to say. He gave me some brochures and that seemed to appease him up to the point where he saw me toss them in the garbage can.

These people are annoying and intrusive and deserve the abuse they get. In fact, they're only seconded in their intrusiveness by the Jehovah’s Witness's....:lol:

OH NO you did not toss it in the garbage can. How dare you do that. :P

If I were you I would of tossed in on the lawn and ran over it with the lawn mower
