Having once paid for biometrics (EAD) do I need to go through the same process again when sending in my AOS ?

I am pretty sure you will have to as you didn't lodge them together, for EAD I have read they only do your photo and index finger. For AOS, however, they do all the fingers and a photo. If you file both together you only pay for one lot of biometrics.

Timeline

Yup....usually AOS and EAD are filed together, along with AP if you desire that. We filed all three, wrote three separate checks BUT mailed them all at the same time. Sounds as if you'll have to pay another biometrics fee. ETA: we FILED at the same time, not just mailed them at the same time. Wanted to clarify that. :)
