Sounds like your family irritates you a little...lol

I know getting paid a decent wage is a horrible idea. If not for unions you'd all be under the thumb of a company with no recourse. But go ahead and deny all the labor laws they instituted on your behalf.

Hey I don't deny unions did alot of good things 50 years ago. Since then they haven't done much. In case you haven't noticed manufacturing is being done in China now.

War on poverty has been a complete failure. Probably should label it surrender to poverty.

Yeah forced union membership is against the law. That's funny. You know that's B.S. We had this conversation months ago.

The war on drugs has cost 10 times more and destroyed millions of lives with incarcerations and felony records, so are you suggesting a full repeal of that boondoggle?

I'm enthusiastically awaiting that gem of an answer.

So the union decided that?

No, some companies decided to use slave labor in a country with even less human rights. But yes, that's the unions fault?

How about you blame who really sent the jobs overseas.

They could make a profit here, it just wouldn't be big enough for some companies and we the US pay the price for that greed.

But don't ever blame the company...its easier to think they were driven away.

Absolutely. Here's your gem. The war on drugs has been a waste of time and money. I know a little bit about it. Myself being a casualty of that "war"

Ok first thing. Go down to your local community college and sign up for a course called Economics 101.

We have free trade in the world now. Those jobs were gone along time ago. Do you want to pay $1500 for your HTC Facebook phone?

Remember when we made EVERYTHING, people were paid more, so they in turn could buy things. That means that you might pay $1500, but you'd make that in a week.

That's economics.

If you send everything overseas to be made cheap eventually your economy will collapse...as ours has somewhat done for the middle working class and the poor.

Rome got too big, that's how it collapsed and now we've expanded our new Rome everywhere.

When they have nobody to buy those phones then they'll rethink this great idea of a global economy shipping jobs to the lowest bidder.

Henry Ford paid his empoyees well so they'd buy cars...that's just plain common sense.

So how to you propose we fix it? Put massive tariffs on imported goods?

So how to you propose we fix it? Put massive tariffs on imported goods?

It would take both sides coming together and realizing that our current busines model is not sustainable.

The answer isn't tarrifs, its a well thought out shift that's way above my pay grade.

We are the worlds biggest consumer, but without jobs we are the worlds future economic disaster.

Its a very complex problem that no one idea could fix. I wish I had that answer.

You've been pretty accurate so far in your descriptions of what people think. Yet another hole in one to consider me republican or christian.
