I think the senator of the state can help you to follow up the cases that's what he did with our noa2 and the nvc case number... I really dont know if thats coincidence but everytime he write his senator after a day or two something good happened.

Been there, done that, and they have been helpful...But since the USCIS said it would take 3-6 weeks for it to reach the NVC, the senator's office won't do anything more until it's been over 6 weeks...headbonk.gif

This is getting ridicilous.... is this another round of waiting game :(

Some people get answer from NVC right away and have been forwarded to their consulate within a week... and others have to wait for a loooong time before NVC even give a case number.. :(

Is there nothing to do?

I call NVC every day and they just say they didnt receive our case...

Still waiting here and my NOA2 was April 26 ClockWatch2.gif

One good thing about the Dutch embassy is that from what I understand, once they have your case things move rather quickly. I can't believe you've been waiting for nearly a month. That's ridiculous.

it is ridiculous, and good luck getting any answers. I've talked to everyone I could talk to and no one will lift a finger until it's been at least 30 days.

hopefully, but I'm not holding my breath... I'm going to try today and see if they can get off their asses...The way I see it, is if it's not at the NVC today, then they may as well start looking for it at USCIS

So, not at NVC... not surprised at this point....Call up USCIS, wait, talk to a tier 1, ask to speak to a tier 2 and get told the tier 2 lines are closed and they can take a message and get called back in 3-5 days (screw that) ranting33va.gif

So I ask how long it's closed for, and she tells me two hours.... Not so different than the last time and they were having "Technical difficulties" and couldn't put me through....Will keep at it, they won't get rid of me that easily....

BWAAAA HAAAAA HAAAaaaaaaaa......

So here’s what happened, after over hour wait on hold, I talked to a Tier 2 who had a horrendous accent... It was very hard to understand her, but at least she was polite and helpful and offered to contact the CSC right away without arguing with me.

The case will be looked up and the CSC will send me a letter notifying me of the location of it and get it off to the NVC.

The annoying part is that I should receive a letter by June 7th… basically 2 weeks. Granted, it could arrive at the NVC before that.

I asked her if there is any way I can find out sooner than that, get a phone call or an email or something, and she said that wasn’t possible.

so for now, back to calling the NVC every day...
