We are still waiting on a case number since May 20!

If what they say is true and one country is sent out generally at once, then we might be together? Maybe they wait until a lot of one country is completed and batch send them?

Fingers crossed it's soon! That's a long time!

Im a may 20th noa2, when I called june 6th they said it came in and went out that day! U should be soon!

Hey guys its a few weeks til it gets to the embassy right? Cuz visajourney timeline says 3-5 days, but why do I doubt that. Also did you guys get an email from nvc? Cuz i didnt and that makes me curious.

July 26th 2012: Engaged

Oh! Same question! Do e-mails get sent out when NVC receives or sends your paperwork to the consulate? Is it something we have to call on or will we get notice? We should call after 2 weeks from the NAO2 or sooner/later? Maybe I missed those answers from before?

I have not received any email whatsoever from the NVC. My case was shipped out on June 5th and according to DHL, should be arriving at the embassy today or tomorrow. So, based on my experience: no email, you have to call. Mine arrived at NVC exactly 10 business days after the NOA2 email, and they were a little annoyed when I kept calling before that. :)

Relationship since April 2006

K-1 Visa: I-129F filed November 6, 2012, NOA2 May 17, 2013, Interview and Approval July 24, 2013

POE San Diego, September 13, 2013, Wedding October 25, 2013

AOS filed November 19, 2013, EAD/AP received January 30, 2014, interview and AOS Approval on February 27, 2014.

ROC filed December 3, 2015, NOA1 12/4/15, Biometrics 12/31/15, ROC Approval on June 16, 2016, 10-Year Green Card received June 22, 2016.

N400 filed September 14, 2023, same day acceptance and Biometric Reuse notice, Interview on 2/13/24: Passed and same day oath. ALL DONE WITH USCIS.

No RFE at any stage, thanks to VisaJourney!

2023 December 28: notice of interview scheduled for February 13, 2024

2024 February 13: naturalization interview (five-year rule) passed, same day oath - now a US Citizen and done with USCIS!

I'd start calling them daily about 10 days after your NOA2. Ours took over 2 weeks to get to them, they are very rude, they are extremely incompetent so be prepared.

Ours got to NVC today too!! Will they notify us when it's been sent on to Lima? Or do we have to keep calling to find that out also?

You will need to call at least until you get the LMA number. Then you can track it online. However, the amount of info on the NVC site is kind of sparse, so if it doesn't change much, I will probably call on Friday or so to see what is going on. Maybe someone from another embassy might chime in on what their experiences were.

They gave me the LMA number when i talked with them today... is there a way to track it with that? she told me that there's nowhere to do it on their webpage..
