That is exactly what the prob is - errosion of ones right, freedom and liberty.

Thats how it went after 9/11 if you have not done nothing wrong you don't have to worry and it lead to the laws where one can be monitored without warrant, one can be held in prision without due process as long as they want.

If you are not doing anything wrong you should not be worried about TSA patting you down.... I am sure you have seen where that has gone.

If law abiding citizen has not done anything wrong, than why is him/her requird to go thru any additional check or provide their details?

Your favorite amendment does not say UN-regulated. It does not say sort-of-regulated. It says WELL-regulated! There is no constitutional right to have and purchase firearms without government regulation and monitoring! It is revisionist history to suggest that having a system of background checks constitutes any erosion of rights, freedom, or liberty. Unless you want to openly argue what the NRA seems to implicitly be saying, that even convicted felons and those certified as mentally ill should also have unfettered access to the guns of their choosing.

That number is not known. What is known is the number of ineligible persons that had a background check run on them trying to acquire a firearm. Most of those, I would speculate, are people that may not have been aware that they are not eligible to purchase a firearm. Either way, what they do once they get denied, they go to a gun show or online and then buy all the firearms they want. And then there are those that know that they can't pass a background check. They skip step one and go to the gun show or online right away escaping any detection whatsoever thanks to the NRA. That number is NOT known but it's easy to see and understand that that number is FAR greater than the number of failed background checks. Are you really that dim?

I am guessing his 'dimness' is by choice! Maybe his grade-school teachers could clarify!rofl.gif

You think individual gun owners rent booths at gunshow?

Most ppl who own booths at gun shows are dealers and for any dealer they have to check the background no matter where they sell.

So you want to argue that gun sales at gunshows only take place at booths?no0pb.gif

Universal background checks are necessarily federal. If background checks don't apply on the other side of a state line, then they're not universal. The NRA is on record opposing universal background checks. The NRA is also on record opposing comprehensive background checks at the state level. You know that, of course, but like to pretend that it isn't so.

7 out of 10 homicides are committed with firearms. That number isn't dropping at all.

and how many of those by assault weapons, which the liberals wanted to ban.. Makes sense right.. NOT

So, was this fella deported after arrest? You know, ICE action, held for USCIS officer after arrest?

That'd be cool, actually.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
