Have you been in a coma for the past six and-a-half months? The USCIS doesn't hurry anything. Your approval was only ten days ago! If you don't get a hard copy in the next week or two, call them or email them.

Right now, you should be focusing like a laser beam on something else: you should be calling the NVC every day in order to get your MNL case number. Once you have your MNL case number, you can pay the visa fee at BPI and schedule an Embassy interview appointment. What are you waiting for?

Let's not be so harsh! 1 She's in review for her Nursing License exams. She is taking those on June 2 and 3. Her dream is to pass her exams and passing them also makes her eligible for those states that require the license. Colorado doesn't require them but I'm an airline employee and we will certainly move in the future. So, her passing is priority, period. If we take longer then those who want to be a "laser beam", then so be it. 2 I know the time lines, I know just about everything I need to know. 3 If you had no intention of answering the question, then why did you reply? Read the question. Did I ask for any of the information you wrote?

They will not reproduce the NOA2 from my knowledge. So, if it's lost, certainly all that I would have is the email notification! Right?

Since you can't read between the lines, I'll slow it down for you. Here are the answers to your questions:

1. Nothing.

2. Nope.

Good luck!!!! Dont worry about people who can't seem to play nice with others. Not worth the headache!

Nursing finals are hectic to say the least. All the best!

I'll be Switzerland. Haha! Tahoma is just pointing out how funny your quote can be and how weird for you to ask it since the guidelines here and most of the people who had been posting are raving about doing medicals and interviews after their NOA2. tongue.png

I see your point though. Things can be overwhelming and you might have meant "the journey" as to the waiting times. There are still some waiting times. tongue.png With regards to your question, NOA2 hardcopy is only sort of the climax of your K1 petition and definitely not the end. Are you waiting for the nursing results? It might take like 2-3 months before the results are given. You can just Schedule your medical and interview around July so she has something to do while waiting and also being a student nurse, she might have a chance of contracting TB and that needs like 2 months for the result if and only if they find something in the medical. It is best if you have a really good plan on the dates. smile.png It would be best that you read forums here in VJ regarding what to do after the NOA2. There are helpful links in a lot of posts here.

I changed my address and received the notification on May 3rd. I was approved on May 7th. So I checked online and saw my old address. I know the online updates are slow so I thought, simply, what would happen if I never received it. I know the embassy requires a copy of it if not the original. Hence my question from the beginning. Why waste everyone's time with the details. Yes, using the journey was an analogy of the entire process. We are just waiting for her to complete them not for the results.

oh that. Well in that case it is important to note that you were waiting for the NOA2 bc you changed your address bc we can easily say you don't need the hard copy at all tongue.png Embassy doesn't need a copy of NOA2 :)

Well whatever. As long as you get your Manila case number from the NVC even without the NOA2 hardcopy you are good to go and another continuation of the journey. I think the K1 never stops until she gets her status adjusted. After that would be another journey. Haha! Life is a never ending journey. Go figure tongue.png

Well completing is tantamount to results so here is an overview:

After NOA2 approval you have 4 months to make a move towards pursuing it.

1. Contact NVC for your Manila case number

2. Schedule an appointment for the interview

3. Get your medical done at least 1 week before your interview

4. You can go to CFO and get the seminar and certification

5. Go to your interview

6. Wait for visa in passport

7. Get the sticker from CFO

After issuance of visa you have 6 months to enter US and 90 days to get married after arrival in US smile.png

As you can see there is a lot more but hopefully she'll work things out after her exams happy.png I hope she does well on her exams.
