Nothing on NVC yet its been 35 days!!!

Yes I did call USCIS and talked to IO. They did open up the service request and said wait till July 9th. Does that mean My case will be transfered to NVC by than?

lastly it's normal to wait 1 month or 2 for your case to arrive in NVC , i waited almost 2 months without knowing what's happened , there are a lot of similar cases, dont worry

No that means that should get a response to your service request by the 9th. I'm calling uscis today and hopefully getting some answers. The next step will be to schedule an info pass to find out what is going on.

An info pass is when u go to your local office to find out information in your case. This only works if ur case was initially transferred to a local office from the service centers. U just go on the uscis website and click in the link for info pass appointments

damn the next appoitment was July 11th. and i don't think my case was trasnferred to local office. i think it was still with NBC

Did you call USCIS? I called yesterday to know why my case was retained and the IO was talking ok, but when she checked my file, she ask did you contact a congress person? so i said yes then she is like well go talk to him and get answers from them very very rude, I tried to talk nice to her so she can give me some info but she was just talking very disrespectful and rude so i told her why are you being so rude and ask for her name but she is like "go talk to your congressman bye" and click on me.

Thats what they do to my case. they put in service request on june 21 they said call them back by july 5... but i still calling them everyday and by june 26 i find out my case was arrived to NVC.. Edited by rjkhuletz

Omg I'm so sorry. Those reps can be so rude sometimes. I'm sorry but they're getting paid to work there they have no reason to be so rude. I haven't called them yet I'm giving them a call tomorrow
