Starting the K-1 process

1st a little background about Ade and myself. We met July 21, 2011 at Margarettaville in Montego Bay, Jamaica . One the happiest days of my life. Ade and I hit it off very fast even though I tried ignoring his presence and my attraction to him.

Long story short, when we met I was in the middle of a crazy adoption/custody battle for kids I had been raising for over 8 years. Ade could have easily said my life was too complicated and moved on to someone else. Instead he stuck around, called daily and encouraged me throughout the process. He understood what I was going through being a single father himself.

I gave my secretary the I-129F form to mail off for me, however; I'm thinking she dropped the ball because I got USPS confirmation saying it was delivered to Dallas on 5/15/13 unless the post office mis-handled my package.

Anyway, I am waiting on our 1st NOA. fingers crossed and praying for a speedy process.

I hope you included more than just the I-129F form.

There's nothing wrong with it being delivered to Dallas.

I hope op means they sent k1 package and not jus I129f by itself

Yeah. If they sent just the form like the post implies, they're in for some disappointment.

sorry, i sent a packet including the I-129f, i-129f supplements, G-325A for both of us with passport photos, copy of my passport, and birth certificate, letters from both with intent to marry in 90 days of entry, copies of boarding pass, cell phone records, copies of our instant msgs, photos of us together. I hope i included enough supporting documents. and of course payment and G-1145 e-notification form

I sent in mine on Feb 11th and got a strange message too . It is in the box waiting to be picked up I am sure . Just give it some time and you will get the NA01 soon . Did you fill out the form (forgot name) to be notified by email and text ? I am pretty sure you can do that online too . You will get that before the actual mailing of the hard copy NA01 .

recieved a text and email stating that our case was accepted and routed to the USCIS Vermont Service Center for processing. I am overjoyed. I know we have a long way to go, but I will celebrate every moment of this journey
