Well it's nice to know someone got an apology. I know they're probably sick or hearing the same question and they don't get paid to be sympathetic but this is people's lives they have "on hold, indefinitely". An apology would definitely make the news a bit easier to swallow.

I haven't had one.

Hope I get Gus next time! Haha.

just called NVC and the lady told me that NVC was supposed to get the instructions from USCIS on new I-864 yesterday, but she hasn't heard anything yet itseems... i am not sure if we can believe it or not..

09/17/12 --- I-130 sent to Phoenix mail box
09/20/12 --- NOA1 recieved via e-mail (CSC)
09/27/12 --- NOA1 hardcopy received
01/24/13 --- Called USCIS customer care and found that case was transferred to Local USCIS office (never got notice of it)
03/18/13 --- Submitted E-request as the petition is officially 180 days beyond
03/18/13 --- Tier2 ISO told the petition is at NBC.
04/01/13 --- We received email confirmation abt the E-request that we put in 2 weeks earlier
04/04/13 --- Went for infopass appointment at local office and they approved my petition and sent it to NBC
04/08/13 --- Received NOA2 today (date of NOA2 is 04/04/2013).

NVC Process

04/18/13 --- Called NVC for case number, they told that they got file on 04/15 asked us to call back of 20 business days
04/23/13 --- Called NVC and got the Case number and invoice identification number.

04/24/13 --- Sent DS-3032 by email.

04/29/13 --- Got AOS Fee email from NVC,

Called up NVC just now, Sandy told me that the instructions for the new version of I-864 is still being developed and with no definite timeframe as to when our AOS packets will be reviewed. I asked if it is okay to just re-send the whole AOS packet using the old version that we have by express mail, Sandy replied, NO- it will not be accepted anymore... crying.gif

Okay fine! Guess were in for the long wait.. cray5ol.gif

I called nvc and asked if i could just send the old aos version and the lady said no because the new one is already in the system and they will not process the old one or any other. i am guessing its gonna take months to complete the instructions and then even more time to complete our cases.

Hi DVV,

No it wasn't because of that. I had to quit my teaching job when my husband left for the US to look after our children.

I was on Government Welfare and, as the NVC started to delay the new I84, I received a letter to say that the Government had stopped any payments made to me, leaving my 2 children and me with no income whatsoever. So I filed an expedite under financial grounds and got approved by the Paris Embassy!

Hi friends , im back again, i thought i'll be back with a good news regarding I-864 , but .... we called NVC today the same answer, no respond from USCIS yet, but i feel soon we will hear good news inchALLAH, we waited a lot,

i read somewhere that NVC dont review and accept IV too , is that true ? IV is separated than I-864 ! just curious to Know

Really?! My IV packet was sent on May24 but as of today it is still not in their system yet but Sandy said, it could be in the building but not showing up in her computer.. I will update you guys later this week after I call NVC again..

:(( i think what i have read is true , if you sent the IV package on May 24, they should has accepted it now or reviewed it ,i wonder if they do tht just with us ( who sent the new I-864) or with everybody?
