Can't help but think it's a waste of time contacting USCIS when it's the NVC that has the problem. The fact uscis put out the new form too early is their fault but its the nvc that are having trouble processing it.

Yes , personnaly i and my husband will call USCIS (supervisor) today we just need an answer , and how much time we should wait more ! since NVC they answer sometimes to contact USCIS , and we will call NVC again today ,

this is crazy :(

I don't think calling them constantly will hurry them up either. Everyone's frustrated and wants to be reunited with their family but it just seems to be one of those (truly horrible, unfortunate) things. I'm gonna just try calling once a week for updates. They log every time you call and I don't want them to get an attitude with me every time I call them, thinking I'm just pestering.

NVC answered our questions regarding the new form , few times , to Contact USCIS because they said they dont know how to review the form yet, seems like they wait USCIS to send them the instructions, or to give them the precise time to start reviewing and accepting the new form , we never imagined we will contact USCIS when we are in NVC stage

Sure , I'll copy and paste the answer as soon as I receive it , they have not answered yet my message , we beleive what NVC tell us in everytime we call them , and we try as maximum possible to contact here and there, hopefully we hear good news soon ,

Just called NVC for updates on processing new form. Same old story. None of the new forms are being processed because USCIS have not given them instructions on how to do so. They can't say when they will begin processing them either.

Feel like crying. Sooooo frustrated.

If the Embassy and USCIS are ok with it, why not the NVC?

I think they just fancy having a huge backlog...

This is all a big ol pile of poo! Extremely frustrating.... What more can be done here? Shall we contact our public servants? Senators and such....Immigration reform my big toe. I know I am ranting but our pieces of paper sitting on their desks are our lives not JUST CASES. Frick and Frack I am beyond frustrated, I am mad as hell....put on hold indefinitely! And there is not much we can do about it. I work in government I know how constipated it can be.... to write out, get approval and implement "new" procedures can take God only knows how long...beaurocratic BS. What used to take a few days is now taking a few weeks. Some of us should have already gotten case completes instead we are on hold indefinitely....

No it wasn't.

It was being held up by the same issue as you, then something happened the following week which made us elligible for an expedite.

We applied for one, the Paris Embassy approved it within 4 days. The NVC then sent our files directly to the Embassy who will review our AOS on the interview day.

We're going to receive instructions from Paris by post so i ll see if I need to bring anymore documentation.
