Also, you are aware that you can call DoS (1-202-663-1225) and ask if the packet has been received and if they are mailing out Packet 4? At that point, you can just go ahead and schedule your interview (IF packet 4 has been mailed out, not necessarily received).

I am very much aware of that :) I've been calling every day (sometimes twice a day -- morning and afternoon) for over a week now. Unfortunately, we're still waiting on Packet 4, and more worringly, it sounds like our file might have been placed in Administrative Processing (although the telephone workers are vague about what exactly that is) so who knows when we'll be able to schedule an interview. Would *love* to have him here in early August, when I move and start a new job, but that's looking increasingly unlikely.
