Quick question about my expedite request

Do you think I'll be denied my expedite because my main reason for the expedite is to get married on 11-12-13?

Come on, it won't happen for another 100 years and I promised her that date already! :)

Sorry, I needed a laugh...but then again, someone else out there must have the same date in mind or sadly the same question. :)

I need that date! Its super easy to remember!

Timeline

 5-13-2013 - I129-F Send Express to Texas

 5-15-2013 - I129-F Delivered and signed for in Lewisville Texas at USCIS

 5-17-2013 - NOA1

 5-20-2013 - Check Cashed USCIS

 8-01-2013 - NOA2  (76 Days from NOA1)

 9-20-2013 - NVC received!

10-7-2013  - Received at embassy Manila (17 days from receiving at NVC)

10-21-2013 - Passed Medical

10-25-2013 - Interview scheduled

10-25-2013 - Administrative Review

11-5-2013  -  Approved

11-13-2013 - Visa received

11-19-2013 - Leaving to PI

12-3-2013 - POE Seattle WA

12-14-2013 - Wedding Ruston Washington.

Yes, your expedite will probably be denied.

Why would the US government care about when you'd prefer to get married

But you never know, they may say yes!

You can forgo the K-1, get married when you want in PI, then pursue a spousal visa.

8/17/10: INTERVIEW DAY (day 123) APPROVED!!

5/23/12: Sent out package

Good idea!!! Lol im going to try this same expedite reason! Jk :) but great idea! I like the date also.. Very neat! I pray all goes well.. Wen did u file? Maybe ur luck will b with u and the process will run fast. Service centers are picking up the pace lately.. Ya never know!! God bless u on ur journey!

All expedite requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis, and are granted at the discretion of the Director. The burden is on the applicant or petitioner to demonstrate that one or more of the expedite criteria have been met. The criteria are as follows:

  • Severe financial loss to company or individual

  • Extreme emergent situation

  • Humanitarian situation

  • Nonprofit status of requesting organization in furtherance of the cultural and social interests of the United States

  • Department of Defense or National Interest Situation (Note: Request must come from official United States Government entity and state that delay will be detrimental to our Government)

  • USCIS error

  • Compelling interest of USCIS

Thanks for the laugh. I just filed this week...that would be great if it happened. I'm glad they are speeding up the process now.

Even though I posted it as a joke some still thought I was serious. LOL

I'm sure every possible reason to expedite has been attempted by now and mostly all fail except for those that meet the criteria.

That date is solid gold...I'd never sleep on the couch...hahaha

P.S. I've been donating to my districts congressman and I will be volunteering at a function...so who knows what will happen...lol

Ohhh great u have brownie points then!! Lol and yes, if u culd get that date no dog house for u ever! Thats great leverage in an argument also lol :)
