According to Pat Robertson, It’s Your Fault Your Husband Cheated on You

As is its wont, the Internet is once again mocking Pat Robertson. What did ol' Pat do this time? A woman wrote into his show asking for his guidance on how to forgive her husband for cheating on her, "so we can get on with our lives." Robertson's advice was to focus on the things she loves about him — is he good with the kids, is he handsome, etc? "He must have something, or you wouldn't have married him, so think about those things." It's not the worst advice in the world!

But Robertson also seems oddly forgiving of the husband's infidelity. "He cheated on you — well, he's a man, okay," Robertson says, as if cheating should be taken as a given for all men. Ultimately, Robertson says, it's the woman's responsibility to stop her husband from cheating. "Like it or not, males have a tendency to wander a little bit, and what you want to do is make the home so wonderful that he doesn't want to wander."

Usually true. If the wife was all that, hubby wouldn't go looking for strange.

Hustler? No way we want that at home. We want the whole package, and a few pleasant surprises as well.

you're not listening to pat. pat knows a thing or two about what the ####### desires (strictly within the boundaries of marraige of course) and it aint' strange or a few pleasant surprises. it's a 'wonderful home'.

You wimmins should learn a thing or two from Ol Pat. Take his advice and there won't be any need for a RUB forum.

Only if your man is into that sort of thing. But you still cannot dry your hand washing in the bathroom he uses to shower in.

meh. if he doesn't ask permission, she shouldn't either. pat robertson doesn't realize how uppity us ladies can get.

and both parties should have the courtesy to wash up post-cheat.
