i864 or i134???

my fiancees packet four link from his embassy says fill out i864 if you have not submitted it with the original packet submission.

well, most of the time affidavit goes with the interview not the original submission, ok. but the strange thing is that everywhere i see i134 mentioned to submit, which i have filled to send for his interview.

no where have i ever seen i864 mentioned along this journey, except from this one link containing a PDF saying i need to bring it to interview, and doesnt mention i134,

and i see i864 mentioned in everyones questions reguarding i864 they are filling out AFTER the immigrant has been approved and made it to the US, and is married.

I am so confused, what affidavit form do I use???

I guess i can send him both, just to be sure, but I am so confused at i864 2.a it asks for an address, i am assuming its my fiancee's address, but it only allows enough spaces for us zip code and only us states are available in the drop down list.

any help would be appreciated

Right now, for the K1 visa, you need the i-134.

To adjust status (i.e., apply for your green card in the US after marriage), you'll use the i-864.

I would send both. That way no reason to reschedule interview, no denial.

Ask other members on VJ that have gone through Iraq and most importantly, ask the Baghdad consulate directly. It is possible that they might require the I-864 instead. Check with them to be sure what exactly they will need from you for a K-1.
