So as you can see form my timeline, we've had the interview notice for a while now. Just yesterday, I noticed a touch online, but still no update to reflect that an interview has already been scheduled.

Anything to worry about? We're just going to show up on the interview day unless we receive something in the mail to the contrary.

9/4/06 - AOS package accepted at Chicago

9/11/06 - ND AOS package

9/14/06 - NOA AOS, AP and EAD

9/16/06 - Biometrics letter received

9/18/06 - All touched

9/19/06 - AP and EAD touched

9/20/06 - RFE notice by email (verify income and employment)

9/23/06 - Biometrics

9/25/06 - NOA I-130 (finally)

9/26/06 - Touched AOS and EAD

10/4/06 - Returned RFE materials by USPS Express mail

10/5/06 - RFE materials signed for by D Atwell

10/12/06 - E-Mail notification RFE material received 10/10/06

11/3/06 - Received interview notice (for 12/18/06)

12/18/06 - Approved with letter in hand (no stamp)

1/3/07 - GC in hand Remove conditions 9/18/08

You dont normaly get an update to show that an interview has been scheduled.... my on-line status has never changed since it was updated to say that they had recieved my Biometrics.... I have had my greencard since Nov 2005.... still shows the same old info...

Same here. Got my interview notice and it still says my last touch was on the 18th of October. I'm not worried about it :)

It's normal, my last update on the I-485 was 9/14/2006. They kinda catch you off-guard ;) Personally I think it would be better if the online status reflected the letter, in case letters get lost in snail mail!

It seems the USCIS online case status is almost pointless. My last update was October 25th, when they received my wife's AOS application package. Since then, no online updates for the Biometrics appt letter and no updates for the AOS Interview letter. BTW, our AOS interview is this coming January.

As mentioned by the other poster, It would be a good idea if USCIS mentioned the letters they sent.

I noticed the exact same thing on my wife's AOS. We received interview notice on Oct 31. It was touched today without an update of status. Last touch before that was Oct 7.

May be the application was either sent to or received at the DO today that generated the touch. I don't think there is anything to worry about.
