We are still waiting for our NOA2, we filed February this year. It's almost 6 months now since NOA1, I've been checking everyday our case status. Even though, I know that I'll receive an email anyway once they have a decision smile.png.

Ellen,

Any update for you parents timeline or case?

Is it already on NVC?

Check the IR-5 timeline thread, lots of people received that notice. Pretty much everybody got approved in three weeks' period after transfer.

I received approval of my petition for my mom dated 7 Feb 2014 and that the case has been sent to NVC.

Question:

My mom has changed her address. I know she will soon receive a packet to proceed with interview, etc. Does anybody know where I can change her address. There is a site where I, the PETITIONER, can change my address. But that is different from her changing her address, right?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks so much!

I checked the status for my mom and it said:

"On February 12, 2014, we shipped this approved or re-affirmed case to the Department of State for visa processing. For more information, please contact them directly.

For approved applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include USCIS sending notification of the approved application/petition to the National Visa Center or the Department of State. For denied applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include the processing of an appeal and/or motions to reopen or reconsider and revocations"

for my dad, it's clearly stated that "we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN."

So they are not going to send me the notification in my mom's case, are they?

Case Complete 05/29/2014. Interview July 24th. How can i schedule medical appointments for my parents? how much it cost?

U do not need to have a medical appointment. Have your parents, however, or you register them online http://www.slec.ph/us/registration/index.php

confirm it, have them print 2 copies and they can walk in. It is first come first serve basis.

Medical cost $240 each per person.
