4/30/2009 NOA2 Petitioner received (approved in 105 days from NOA1 3.5months)

6/20/2009 Packet 4 Petitioner received, mail everything from above forms & I-134 plus other doc as required for beneficiary
7/23/2009 Interview @ 7am, Interview passed- visa pick up July 31st

5/15 - txt received confirming application received

5/16 - cash encashed and I 797C received.

5/22/2013 Received email case has been accepted and routed to the USCIS National Benefits Center for processing.

5/23/2012 Case has been updated on USCIS with below :

On May 20, 2013, we received this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN, and mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case. Please follow any instructions on this notice. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or contact our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

During this step, USCIS initiates the background checks of the applicant/petitioner and identifies issues that may need to be addressed either during an interview or by asking the applicant/petitioner to submit additional information or documentation. USCIS reviews the applicant's/petitioner's criminal history, determines if there are national security concerns that need to be addressed, and reviews the application/petition for fraud indicators.

It has been 144 days from NOA1 no New updates.


IR5 DAD's Journey Total of 1 year from mailing out form I-130

(Jan 2013) to Visa in hand(Jan 2014).

02/02/2014: Paid $165 at ELIS site

03/06/2014: PORT-OF-Entry=Vancouver Canada

03/31/2014: USCIS Status Address Change

04/03/2014: Applied for SS

​04/03/2014: ELIS STATUS showed OPTIMIZED right away the day we applied for SS card.

04/07/2014: Green Card Production

04/09/2014: SS Card received.

4/10/2014: ELIS and USCIS status: GREEN CARD PRODUCED/SHIPPED

4/15/2014: GC arrived in the mail (yay!)

Aug 5, 2013 - Arrived at NVC Building

Aug 13, 2013 - Got the NVC case # via PHONE

Aug 14, 2013 - Got the Invoice # via PHONE

Aug 15, 2013 - Send my DS-3032 via Email

Aug 16, 2013 - AOS Pay

Aug 17, 2013 - Got an email to print the COVER SHEET

Aug 21, 2013 - send the AOS overnight at NVC

Aug 28, 2013 - Accept the DS-3032

Aug 30, 2013 - IV BILL pay and Documents Sent to NVC receive the checklist AOS.

September 19, 2013 Sent back the checklist
